Microsoft Stops Supporting Windows XP and Office 2003

As of April 8, 2014, there will be no new security updates, non-security hot fixes, free or paid assisted support options or online technical content updates for Windows XP and Office 2003.

What does this mean?

You will get NO SUPPORT from Microsoft as of 8 April for any device running Windows XP and/or Office 2003.

• Your device/s WILL continue to work.
• Your device/s WILL NOT receive any further updates.
• Your device/s WILL become vulnerable to security breaches.

Nasty little side effect: New devices are not being loaded with drivers you need for Windows XP and Office 2003. If you buy a new device that does not have the right drivers, you CANNOT use Windows XP and Office 2003 on that device.
