How ReSharper 8.0.1 RTM can change things for you

We are impressed with the power of ReSharper 8.0.1 RTM, and you should be too. In fact, here's how it can change things for you.  With regard to Code Quality Analysis, Resharper 8.0.1 RTM provides continuous code quality analysis in C#, VB.NET, XAMAL, XML, ASP.NET. ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS by detecting any errors or problems with your codes before they are even compiled.

How does ReSharper 8.0.1 RTM complete the code quality analysis?

ReSharper applies over 1700 code inspections to your code at design time which enables you to see if your current file, or even your whole solution, contains any errors or problems.  The errors and problems that are detected by ReSharper 8.0.1 RTM are immediately displayed in the Visual Studio editor, as well as visualizes them using the Marker Bar on the right side of the screen.  The Status Indicator at the top of the Marker Bar changes its color and icon if errors or problems are detected.  These errors are displayed either with a red font or curly underline.  You can see the description of the error by simply rolling your mouse pointer over an error.  The description of the error is displayed in a tooltip.

ReSharper 8.0.1 RTM also provides warnings with regard to your code that do not prevent your code from compiling but may represent serious coding performances.  Just a few of the warnings ReSharper 8.0.1 RTM provides includes incorrect format strings, redundant casts, declared but never used local variables, as well as many other warnings that could affect the performance of your code.  The constructs that have associated warnings are emphasized with either grayed text or a blue curly underline.
